About our events work
Concerts, live shows, fundraisers and gatherings, photographed from the crowd and from the stage. Event work is about reading a room quickly: where the light is coming from, where the moment is going to happen, and where you can stand without being in the middle of it.
Low light is the normal condition rather than the exception. We shoot fast glass and work with whatever the venue has instead of lighting the room ourselves, because flooding a room with flash changes the feel of the night and is usually not welcome anyway.
What you get back is a record of the evening rather than a set of posed groups: the speaker mid sentence, the room actually full, the band from the pit, the people at the back who came. If you do need formal groups we will run them at a point in the night when everyone is still in one place, which is earlier than most people think.
A selected set can go out the same night for social media, with the full gallery following.
