Geneva is home. From here we cover the Fox Valley, DuPage, the western suburbs, the city and up into southern Wisconsin. Travel inside this area is part of the booking, not an extra on the invoice.

Geneva Geneva's Third Street storefronts and Fox River bluffs are the backdrop we know because we work from here. Batavia Batavia's Riverwalk and old limestone buildings give sessions here a quieter, working-town feel than its neighbors. St. Charles St. Charles built its downtown around the river on purpose, and that's exactly why couples propose there. North Aurora North Aurora's newer subdivisions and river parks make it a family and senior portrait town more than a downtown one. Aurora Aurora is big enough to have a downtown, a suburb, and a concert venue all needing different kinds of work. South Elgin South Elgin's trail system and quieter river parks make it a low key spot for family sessions, not a downtown scene. West Chicago West Chicago grew up as a rail town, and its airport and industrial park still shape most of the commercial work here. Warrenville Warrenville splits between the Cantera office park and Blackwell Forest Preserve, and the work here splits the same way. Winfield Winfield stays quiet and residential, and that's exactly why families here prefer simple, unfussy portraits. Wheaton Wheaton's Cantigny gardens and college campus give this town more built-in backdrop than almost anywhere in DuPage. Wayne Wayne is horse country before it's anything else, and every shoot here works around that. Campton Hills Campton Hills incorporated to stay rural, and the large lots and horse farms here still show it. Naperville The Riverwalk, the covered bridge and Naper Settlement give Naperville more usable backdrops per square mile than anywhere else we shoot. Elgin Elgin's watch factory history left behind brick mills, a river gorge and a grand old theater, which is a rare set of textures this far west. Chicago We are downtown most weeks: the lakefront for proposals, the bridges for graduations, LaSalle Street for city hall weddings. Oswego Oswego's riverfront parks and open prairie edges are the reason so many family sessions out here happen an hour before sunset. Yorkville Yorkville has the only whitewater on this stretch of the Fox, and farmland close enough to be in a frame ten minutes from downtown. Sugar Grove Sugar Grove is where we go when a session needs open sky and nobody walking through the back of the frame. Elburn Elburn is the last stop on the Metra line and the first place west where the fields take over completely. Glen Ellyn Lake Ellyn, the boathouse and the older streets above it make Glen Ellyn one of the most photographable towns in DuPage. Lake Geneva Lake Geneva is an hour and a bit north and worth every minute of it: estate grounds, a shore path and water that photographs like a mirror at dawn. Carol Stream Carol Stream is mostly young families and light industry, and the work here splits neatly between the two.
