West Chicago was known as Turner Junction back when the railroad first came through, and that industrial backbone never really left, the DuPage Airport and the warehouses and manufacturing along Route 59 make commercial and real estate photography here a different job than shooting a downtown storefront, more about scale and function than curb appeal.
The older housing stock near the original depot is modest, mostly bungalows and post war homes, while newer development has pushed out toward the edges of town.
Reed-Keppler Park hosts most of the town's community events, and that's usually where event photography work comes from here, school fundraisers, community days, things with a real local crowd rather than a private party.
Where we shoot in West Chicago
What West Chicago books us for
- Commercial PhotographyBusinesses around DuPage Airport and the Route 59 industrial corridor need imagery built around scale and equipment, not storefronts.
- Real Estate PhotographyThe mix of older bungalows and industrial-adjacent properties means listing photography has to work harder to show appeal.
- Event PhotographyReed-Keppler Park is where most community events happen, and that's where this town's event work actually comes from.
