The arch bridge and Hotel Baker sitting right on the Fox River are the reason St. Charles gets more proposal and engagement bookings than towns without that kind of view built in. Century Corners and the downtown retail strip stay busy year round, and the Fox River Trail running through town gives a photographer options depending on whether a couple wants brick and storefronts or water and willow trees.
St. Charles leans harder into its downtown business district than some of its neighbors, more boutique retail, more restaurants with patios on the water, which means commercial video work here often has a river view built right into the shot without needing a second location.
Swedish Days each June fills the downtown, and a lot of local wedding parties plan their photo timeline around avoiding festival crowds at Pottawatomie Park.

- Wedding VideographyThe bridge and river give a wedding film a sense of place that doesn't need extra b-roll to establish.
- Commercial Video ProductionDowntown restaurants and shops on the water want video that shows off the river view as part of the pitch.
