The dam and the kayak chute at Bicentennial Riverfront Park put moving water in the background, which is unusual on this river and useful when a couple wants something with noise and movement rather than a still pond. The bluff above it gives height, so a wide frame here does not flatten out the way most Fox Valley riverbank shots do.
Drive five minutes in any direction from the courthouse and you are in farmland. Fence lines, silos, gravel roads and soybean fields that go gold in September are all inside a short hop, and they photograph completely differently from the manicured parkland further north.
Kendall County has grown fast but the working farms are still here, which means location access is often a conversation with an owner rather than a permit. We handle that ahead of the session rather than turning up and hoping.

What Yorkville books us for
- Wedding PhotographyMoving water and a bluff above it, for couples who want noise and height rather than a still pond.
- Family PhotographyFence lines and gold soybean fields in September, a short hop from the middle of town.
- Proposal PhotographyThe chute gives sound cover, which helps when the plan depends on nobody hearing you arrive.
