Graduation sessions are short, specific and easy to get wrong by leaving something out. Four things get asked for afterwards every time: the regalia frames, the diploma folder, the sign or the building with the school's name on it, and a set without the gown. We shoot all four as standard rather than have you come back.
Where it happens matters. A campus gives you the stone, the ivy and the lawn, which is what most families picture. The city gives you bridges, the river and the loop behind every frame, which is what a lot of graduates actually want. We have shot both and either works. A walking session through downtown covers more ground than people expect in an hour.
We also make sure there are frames with the people who paid for it. Parents, grandparents, the friend who was in every study group. Those are the ones that get printed, and they are the ones most often forgotten until everyone has already gone home.
